The LORD is willing to show signs, wonders, and miracles for the benefit of saving or delivering.  He is not into vain show, nor does it (vain show) create the faith that will last through hard trials.

Genuine acts of love will always convince those who are seeking that this is the real thing.  Providing for the wedding, at the request of his mother, and taking care of his family, that’s true love.

Jesus is on his way to the Passover – being set apart for sacrifice.

¹¹ This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

¹² After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.

¹³ Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
