Exodus 34 –
“The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin.”
Another look at the image that God created man to walk in. How far short Moses had come to this image when he became angry with the Israelites and broke the first Tables of Commandments the LORD had given for him and the people.
The LORD constantly gives us a glimpse at where He has destined us to be as He reveals His own nature to us.
As we look upon His loveliness, our own nature begins to become more and more conformed to his image and likeness; so much so that people recognize that we have been in the presence of GOD and begin to fear because of the ugliness of sin in their own unconverted hearts.
