Allow judging others to depart from my mind

Allow me to focus on problems I find

Allow me to see all my wrong through Your eyes

Allow me to see what it is You despise

Allow the correction to come from my heart

Allow me the chance everyday to restart

Allow me to humble myself through this day

Allow me to find the words You would say

Teach me forgiveness to those that hurt me

For this prayer that I write will now help me leave

A life that’s in prison to be of my past

Since I called on Your name, these demons You’ll cast

Away from my soul, for you shall protect

This is the truth, for my life You’ll direct.
